I am in the process of testing all of the batteries to see how much - if any - they have deteriorated since last year. I will have the results in a week.
Those with a keen eye will be puzzled over the pedals and chain. Hint: it is not connected to the rear wheel. I no longer pedal the bike because it has more than enough power to operate without my leg power. However, I do need the pedals for balance. The chain is necessary to provide some resistance so that the pedals are still under some semblance of control otherwise they spin wildly and that makes it difficult to put one's feet on them.
